Dr. Kelley Corcoran
Dr. Kelley Corcoran, DVM is a 1989 graduate of the
University of Guelph School of
Veterinary Medicine located in Ontario, Canada. This school is proud of its distinction as the oldest veterinary school
in North America.
Dr. Corcoran was one among three of the first interns in
small animal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine at the Atlantic
Veterinary School at the University of Prince Edward
Island (Canada).
Dr. Corcoran then worked for one year in a busy small animal
practice in Halifax, Nova Scotia, before coming to the Washington, DC area for
a private practice residency with Dr. Seth Koch and the Animal Eye Clinic. This
residency program involved advanced training with more veterinary ophthalmologists
throughout the United States than did any other residency program in the
country.
Dr. Corcoran attained her status as a Diplomate of the
American College of Veterinary Ophthalmology in 1996 and has since been
practicing in Northern Virginia.
